Hi, I’m Emily

Over the past 2 years, I’ve adopted a beautiful beagle, converted a campervan & delved more into creating acrylic paintings.

There's nothing more beautiful than the world around us. Some of my best childhood memories are saved in my mind as screenshots of British seascapes.

My journey began when our favourite go-to holiday home in Brixham was put up for sale. We went each year purely for the harbour view and my Grandad was heartbroken when he thought that he'd not be able to stare at that gorgeous ship-laden seascape. Fishermen entering the harbour with the day's fresh catches as the sound of the sails clinked and clacked against the harbour walks.

I decided to take a photo of that view for the 'last' holiday and attempt to freeze the view in a personal painting.

The process was so incredibly enjoyable for me. The mindfulness that came from examining every inch of a view so familiar to me. I began to get creative with the colours, opting for brighter, bolder tones than those existing in the photograph to reflect the joyful memories I hold of that exact view.

This kickstarted a love and passion for capturing the most majestic views in a way that elevates the mood of the scene before me.

And with that, came the adventure!

Along with my partner, Mike, we converted a Peugeot Boxer into the perfect home on wheels so I can capture the beauty of Britain in paint from the comfort of our very own campervan!
