This unique, textured original wave painting is inspired by a photograph I took during a small storm in Wales, UK. The sun was lightly setting on the horizon causing glimpses of dusty pink and primary blues to peek through the clouds. This caused the facing side of the water to look dark and mysterious, with streaks of brighter tones catching as the wave rolled over.
This painting would look gorgeous propped on a shelf, styled with nautical themed accessories or as a hanging piece to add a soft, relaxed touch to a modern monochrome interior.
[Just writing this, I'm almost convinced to keep it for myself 😅]
